Grand Prairie Water Filtration That Fixes the Real Problem

We look for what's really behind the chlorine taste, white spots or crusty faucets in your home, then match the fix to it. That might be whole-home filtration, a water softener, reverse osmosis at the kitchen sink or UV treatment. We work across Grand Prairie and nearby Arlington and Irving.

What Goes Into the Price of a System

Every house has its own plumbing and its own water complaint, so we build your price from what we find there instead of a fixed package. These are the details that move it most. We'll talk through each one when we give you your quote by phone.

Your quote comes from your home and your water test, with every part explained. Standard professional installation included for qualifying homes, and we'll tell you at the start whether yours qualifies.

Which system you choose
Putting a reverse osmosis unit under the sink is less work than adding a whole-home filter to the main line. Combining systems, like a softener before a carbon filter, means more equipment and labor.
How many people live there
A bigger household with more bathrooms pushes more water through the system, so it needs to be sized to keep pace without losing pressure.
Main line location
A main line that enters in an open, easy-to-reach spot makes for a quicker install. A tight closet, a long run of pipe or a connection that needs relocating adds hours.
Drain and outlet needs
Softeners and reverse osmosis need a drain, and UV units plus some softeners need an outlet close by. If either is missing, adding it becomes part of the work.
State of the existing pipes
Worn fittings or old valves where we connect may need swapping so the new system seals tight. We flag this before the job begins, not in the middle of it.
Supplies over time
Filters, membranes, lamps and salt keep costing after install day. We bring them up so you can weigh systems by what they cost to own, not only to buy.

Water Treatment for Your Home

We put in four types of systems: whole-home filtration to take chlorine taste and odor out of every tap, water softeners to stop scale and spotting, reverse osmosis for better drinking and cooking water, and UV water treatment as an extra barrier against bacteria. Subcontracted master-licensed plumbers handle every installation, so your plumbing connections are made correctly. Problems tied to the installation fall under our 1-year workmanship warranty on installation-related defects.

  • Whole-Home Filtration

One filter on your main water line that cuts chlorine taste and odor at every shower, sink and appliance, sized after we test your water.

  • Water Softeners

Softeners recommended only after we measure your hardness, then sized to how much water your household actually uses.

  • Reverse Osmosis

An under-sink reverse osmosis system for drinking and cooking water, sized and configured after we see what your water test shows.

  • UV Water Treatment

A chemical-free UV barrier against bacteria and viruses in your home's water, sized to your flow and set up after the right prefilter.

A Local Company That Starts With Questions

Water Filtration Grand Prairie was built around one habit: we find the real cause before we suggest a fix. Plenty of homeowners have been sold a large system to fix a taste problem that a carbon filter would have handled, or a softener for spots that came from something else. We'd rather spend extra time at the tap than leave you with equipment that misses the point.

We keep the conversation plain and friendly. You'll hear what's in your water, what we'd do about it and what it costs to keep running, so you can make the choice that's right for your family and your budget.

Why Neighbors Call Us First

A filter that targets the wrong problem costs you money and leaves the issue in place. So we start by figuring out what you're actually dealing with.

We look before we recommend
Spots on the shower glass can come from hardness. A bleach smell usually points to disinfectant, and a metallic taste can trace back to old pipes. Each has a different fix, so we check your water and talk through what you're noticing before any system comes up.
You hear the reasons behind each option
We show you what we found and explain which system addresses it and why. If a simpler setup will do the job, we tell you that.
No equipment you don't need
If your reading doesn't support a water softener, we won't suggest one. A single well-chosen system often solves more than a stack of add-ons.
Your home is treated with care
We lay down drop cloths, protect floors and cabinets, and clean up before we leave. When we're done, you'll know where the shutoff valves are and how to bypass the system.
Upkeep you can plan for
Every system needs some upkeep, whether that's a cartridge, a membrane, a UV lamp or salt. We tell you what each one needs and roughly how often before you decide, so ongoing care holds no surprises.

Questions Homeowners Ask Us

Something not covered here? (972) 945-8548

Is my water unsafe if it tastes like chlorine?

Usually not. Cities treat water with disinfectant on purpose, and that's what you're tasting and smelling. Most of it can be removed with a carbon whole-home filter or a reverse osmosis unit at the kitchen sink. If your description suggests a different cause, we'll say so plainly.

Do I really need a water softener?

Only if your hardness reading calls for one. Spotting and buildup can have several causes, which is why the test comes first. If hardness is low, we'll let you know and point you to something that fits better, or tell you nothing needs doing.

What happens when you come out to test?

We come to your home, test the water at a tap and look at fixtures and appliances for scale or staining. Then we review what we found together. The written water report is yours to keep whether or not you buy.

Does reverse osmosis help in a home with older plumbing?

For drinking and cooking water, yes, especially where older pipes or fittings make you want an added layer of protection. The unit goes under the kitchen sink and has a faucet of its own. It doesn't fix the pipes themselves, and we'll be upfront about that.

Is the installation covered by a warranty?

Yes. Every job carries a 1-year workmanship warranty on installation-related defects. If a problem comes from the way the system was installed, contact us and we'll make it right.

How much upkeep should I expect?

It depends on the system. Carbon filters and reverse osmosis cartridges are changed on a set schedule, softeners need salt and UV units need a fresh lamp every year. We give you a simple maintenance plan before you choose, so there are no surprises.

Will installation disrupt my day much?

Your water is shut off only while the connections are made. We protect floors and cabinets, clean up when we finish and walk you through the new system before we go.

What to Expect From First Call to Finished Install

We handle every home the same way, so each next step is clear before it happens.

  1. 1

    Give us a call

Describe what you're noticing, such as an odor, spotting, an off taste or scale, and roughly when it started. We'll pick a time to come out to your home.

  2. 2

    An in-home water test

We draw water at a tap and look over your fixtures, your water heater and where the main line enters. The results go into a written water report you keep.

  3. 3

    Going over your options

We break down the readings, tell you which system fits them and hand you a quote. There's no need to make a decision while we're there.

  4. 4

    Installation

One of our partner plumbers puts the system in. The work area gets covered, the system is connected, every joint is checked for drips and the lines are flushed before you use the water.

  5. 5

    Walkthrough and support

We show you where the bypass valve is, how to change filters and what signs to watch for. You'll also know exactly who to call if anything seems off down the road.
